The History of Yugoslavia truly started with the end of the National Liberation War (25th May, 1945), the day that Yugoslavia was Liberated from its Nazi Oppressors. after the end of the National Liberation War the process of Reconstruction began, among the most important acts of Reconstruction was the orderly and peaceful arrests of known Anti-revolutionary collaborators which took place over the course of approximately 3 years which ultimately ended in 1948. another important act of Reconstruction was the election of November 11th 1945, the first elections since 1938 which took place under the corrupt rule of the Bourgeois Kingdom of Yugoslavia. During the election of 1945 the triumphant Peoples Front of Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito won 91.43% of the Vote and all 354 Parliamentary Seats (a clear sign of the overwhelming popularity of Marxist-Leninist Communism).
In 1946 there were two important Events, first of which was the beginning of the Greek Liberation War on the 31st of March which started because of the Killings of ~2000 Greek citizens committed to the Marxist-Leninist Way of Life and Communist Party of Greece (KKE). during the early periods of this war the forces of the Democratic Army of Greece (DSE) rose up in defiance of the Oppressive Kingdom of Greece and thus began the brutal war to Liberate the Greek peoples from Bourgeois oppression. soon after the start of the war Josip Broz Tito pledged the DSE his undying support and began providing extensive humanitarian and military aid to the heroic fighters of the DSE. The second important Event of 1946 was the first act of Communist Resistance against the Capitalist West on the 9th of August when a American C-47 Transport Plane was shot down over Kranj in the Federal Republic of Slovenia. this heroic act signalled to the decadent west the strength and determination of the Peoples Will and began a long tradition of Aerial Sovereignty which is still maintained to this day.
In 1947, Josip Broz Tito Announced the
First Five Year Plan which aimed at expanding the manufacturing capacities of
Yugoslavia substantially especially in the fields of Shipbuilding, Machinery and
Steel. this Five Year Plan was incredibly Successful and lead to the creation of
the extensive arms industry which has secured Yugoslav Sovereignty for 50 Years.
Also in 1947, Yugoslavia signed the Bled Agreement with the Bulgarian People's
Republic which was the first step towards Bulgarian Membership in the Yugoslav
Federation, the Bled Agreement had 3 Goals 1. the unification of the
Peoples Republic of Macedonia and Pirin Macedonia 2, greater economic
cooperation between Yugoslavia and Bulgaria 3. the eventual unification
of Yugoslavia and Bulgaria.
Finally in 1947 was the Formation of the Cominform of which Yugoslavia was a
Founding Member and which was Headquartered in Belgrade. the Cominform was
initially formed as a forum to coordinate Communist action under the Leadership
of the Soviet Union, the Founding meeting of the Cominform Set forth the goal of
supporting Communist movements in countries which had not yet embraced the
Peoples Revolution and the Marxist-Leninist way of life.
